Hamlet
Bambaler in the waters of Maliau river , a tributary of the Barito , is
a very attractive village into a unique natural tourist destinations
and special interests . Why unique and interesting ? Because this village is a floating village . Whole houses are houses floating ( floating residences ) .Number of buildings / houses floating in the hamlet Bambaler 126 pieces , consisting of 115 heads of household .Bambaler livelihood is fishing catch and search a little forest . Because time fishing depending on the season and the state of water
then most of the catch is not sold directly but kept in cages - floating
cages .TOURIST ATTRACTION
Bambaler is a tourist attraction which is 100 % of the population lives on the water carried . Another uniqueness is the process of fishing is done , in addition to the daily process of socio-cultural uniqueness of the population .
Another attraction that is no less unique is the number of monkeys in the trees near a residential floating population . The monkey is a wild ride down seemed accustomed to floating houses .
In addition to wild apes , there are also white storks and birds bakaka . These birds come and crowding among the population when there are feeding ikanikan tahuman in cages - cages .
Not far from the village there is also a floating community of this type of long-nosed monkey proboscis monkey . Probo apes or Prosboscies Monkeys in the hamlet Bambaler showed two different types , namely the proboscis yellow fluffy but a big man . Another group hairy brown and smaller entities .

Moreover, if the Local Government .... willing to make the sort of place " share their good fortune " with animals , certainly very attractive hamlet Bambaler as the natural destination . For example , the Local Government is willing to make a floating harbor as a place to feed the monkeys , where the storks and birds eat bakaka , or make a special garden or feeding shelter as the " granary feed " proboscis , certainly all living creatures will live in harmony Bambaler .
